Dylan Delese

• Major: BS Urban and Regional Planning, Minor in Geography
• Hometown: Greenville, NC
• Interest in Planning & future goals:  I first became interested in the Planning field because it provides better communities and improves the quality of life for citizens. Geography interests me due to the complexity of the subject, plus I’ve always been a science-oriented person. In the future, my main goals are to use the knowledge that I have gained here to help give a voice to the people who need to be heard and to use what I have learned about sustainability to better communities for future generations.
• Favorite thing about the department: I enjoyed my professors and faculty in the DGPE and Planning departments. All of the instructors that I’ve had throughout the years were devoted to helping their students reach their goals and aspirations, and you could tell that they genuinely care about their success. That combined with an incredible group of peers as equally motivated as me, you get a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable learning experience. Thank you to all who have contributed to my growth and success here at East Carolina.
