Hometown: Asheville, NC
Minors or areas of emphasis: My major is Engineering with a concentration in environmental engineering. I have minors in Community and Regional Planning, Mathematics, and Composite Natural Sciences.
Hobbies or interests: I’m a huge fan of being outdoors. Whether it’s gardening or going for a hike, I’m always down. Another one of my favorite ways to spend my free time is watching admittedly “dumb” comedy movies with my friends.
Clubs and organizations: American Society of Civil Engineers – Treasurer, Student Planners’ Action Network – Member.
Career Goals: My dream job is to become an environmental/civil engineer with a focus on public works, hydrology, and disaster remediation.
Role Models: My Mom
What opportunities have given you: Through ECU, I have been provided countless deeply impactful personal and professional opportunities. A key highlight in my personal background was attending the Community and Regional Planning study abroad program in Seoul, South Korea in the Summer of 2025. The experience exposed me to an entirely new culture, along with their technological developments as it pertains to planning. Professionally, ECU has afforded me research opportunities, conference attendance (including the NC APA conference and the Naval Academy Science and Engineering Conference), and a major scholarship. Through ECU’s opportunities, I have been able to put myself a step ahead of other undergraduate students at other universities. Go Pirates!
